Christmas in Jackson

All of our children spent Christmas with their in-laws this year. It was our "off year". I couldn't bear to be home alone after 35 years, so we gathered up Arlene and Dave and went to Jackson Hole for Christmas. It was certainly different. It was very wintry. The trees and snow were gorgeous. Twas 10 below the morning we came home. We rode the 100 passenger tram to the top of the mountain - up 10,400 feet and ate at the restaurant on the side of the mountain. We saw the elk and had a very relaxing weekend. Christmas came and went and we hardly noticed. I always wondered what Santa did the day after Christmas! It was fun to spend time together. We missed the kids, but tried to make the best of it! Merry Christmas!

Grandma, Cassie, Brandon and Kiera

Christmas Eve in Idaho Falls, Cass, Brandon and Kiera stopped in on their way to Billings and spent the night. We had a nice Christmas Eve and so enjoyed seeing them. Was wonderful to spend some time with Grandma.

My Old Stompin' Grounds

While I was in Idaho Falls the week of Christmas, I was able to ride out to Monteview to see the farm with Steve and Arlene. Stopped to see where Mom and Dad are buried. We had a nice day. I love the Lemhi Mountain Range. Had a very relaxing week with Arlene. Was able to see Jaime, and all of Arlene's girls, Steve and Pam and David. I am so thankful for my brothers and sisters. They are my best friends!

We were able to get together with Spencer, Sara and the kids, Rusty, Annie and Eric and Alisha before Christmas. Sara fixed a nice dinner and we all spent a nice evening together.
